On 17 November 2020, the Directorate of Trademark and Patent of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry republished all trademarks that were published in the Official Gazette in January, February, and March 2020.
The republished trademarks are subject for the 60-day opposition period, making the due date for opposition 16 January 2021.
The Directorate issued the above decision as a result of the delays caused by covid-19 epidemic, and to compensate for the lack of responsiveness by other entities and companies due to the lockdown.
